Who are we?

Since 1986, Gymnitours offers youths a great discipline that allows them to develop their physical skills in a healthy and balanced environment.

Gymnitours is a non-profit organization worthy and proud to promote gymnastics with our young aged 3-17 years clientele, both recreational and competitive level. The gyms are located in the sports center of Collège Sainte-Anne de Lachine and centre gariepy, they hosts nearly 400 young athletes in artistic gymnastics and trampoline sports.

Our customers mainly from Lachine, also extends to adjacent regions: Montreal West, The West Island of Montreal and the South Shore. This client enjoy our quality gymnastics training and diversity of our programs.

Competitive

Circuit 1-2-3 Regional level

The regional circuit has been designed to offer recreational athletes training program a period of 4 to 9 hours per week. This tour begins with an easy level enables young people to make fun of the competition. Later, the performance led him to a more structured with a higher difficulty level practice.

Changing Program and Provincial Challenge

The objective of the program is not a race at the highest level but the pursuit of excellence. It is important for a young gymnast learn to develop an eye for technical detail. It is also essential to develop its capacity to perform all the databases in a variety of situations in order to enhance its ability to adapt and allow it to become versatile.
Canadian Provincial Program

The general objectives of female competitive programs are to facilitate the tracking of a gymnast throughout her gymnastics career and encourage overtaking. In addition, the objectives of the PPC is to allow, encourage and require a certain level of difficulty according to the long-term objectives of each program.

Recreational

Introduction – Mini-gym

Children learn the most and easiest between the ages of 3 to 6. The quality of their motor skills development in the future will depend on their acquired physical abilities at an early age. The divers  and stimulating activities offered through Gymnastics will encourage their growth and physical development.

Cangym 7 years +

CANGYM is Canada’s National Skill Development Program. It was created by coaches, to be used in recreational gymnastics programs for participants of all ages. There are 14 different colored badges in the CANGYM program. Each badge consists of approximately 30 different skills.

Program skills have been selected to ensure a clear progression from one badge to the next.

The key skills in this program can be considered building blocks for more advanced gymnastics, but can also stand alone as excellent recreational level skills.
